Our Future Health & Wellness Campus
To preserve and expand the impact on our community and to ensure we can continue to meet the needs of future generations, Margaret Mary Health is building a new Health & Wellness Campus. The Health & Wellness Campus will be anchored by a new state-of-the-art hospital which will integrate and coordinate key service lines to maximize future opportunities. Additionally, community wellness spaces will enable us to deliver on our mission for our community and expand our care beyond the traditional walls of the facilities. Below are some of spaces that you can expect to find in on our Health and Wellness Campus in 2026.
Surgery
Larger surgical suites will have a dramatic impact on our ability to deliver state-of-the-art healthcare locally.
Maternity/OB
Top-of-the-line equipment and technology in the labor, delivery and recovery rooms will enhance safety during deliveries.
Patient Rooms
The new hospital will include all private patient rooms for med/surg, hospice-in-place and transitional care patients.
Emergency Room
As healthcare becomes more patient-centric, it's more important than ever improve the patient experience - which often begins in the Emergency Room.
Imaging
Our new hospital imaging department will combine the expertise of our medical staff with the most up-to-date imaging equipment.
Dining
The cafe at the new hospital will be open to the public and provide indoor and outdoor dining options in a comfortable and relaxing environment.
Chapel
A non-denominational chapel will be accessible off the front entrance of the hospital for patients, team members and members of the community.
Walking Trails
Community walking trails will adorn the Margaret Mary Health & Wellness Campus, connecting to the existing trails and the City of Batesville's Freedom Park.
Community Park
The Margaret Mary Health & Wellness Campus is part of a natural sanctuary which will include a community park with tranquil ponds and lush gardens where members of the community can gather.
