Located on the second floor of Margaret Mary’s Outpatient and Cancer Center, our wound care clinic is designed to treat and heal patients with non-healing wounds.

At MMH, our team of specially trained physicians and nurses is committed to developing a treatment plan that heals your wound as quickly as possible while reducing any pain you may be experiencing.

Mark's Story

After falling off an equipment trailer and tearing his Achilles tendon, Mark Sturwold, of St. Leon, underwent multiple surgeries, but unfortunately his foot wouldn't heal completely. A diabetes patient, he understood the importance of receiving specialized wound care to avoid further complications. Today, Mark is doing well and is grateful to Podiatrist Amy Jelinek and the wound care team for their ongoing care.

“When you’re dealing with something difficult, how you’re treated affects your outlook," said Mark. "Being positive has helped me. I have a great relationship with Dr. Jelinek and the nurses. They treat me like family. We joke around during my visits. I’ve always been active, and thanks to their care, I’ve been able to stay that way."
