Progress is underway on the construction of our new replacement hospital and we couldn't be more excited! Located on State Route 229 just north of the I-74 Batesville interchange, this facility will enhance the patient experience, attract new providers to our community and serve as an anchor for an expanded health and wellness campus.
Open for Patient Care in 2026:
If you’ve driven by our Six Pine Ranch campus lately, you’ve likely seen the exciting progress we’ve made on the construction of our new 125,000-square-foot hospital. Located on Indiana State Route 229 just north of the I-74 Batesville interchange, the state-of-the-art facility will house:
- Emergency Services
- Surgical Services
- Imaging Center
- Lab
- Inpatient Care
- Maternity Services
- Cardiac Rehab
- Sleep Clinic
- Public Café
- Chapel
To improve the health of our community, the replacement hospital will also serve as the anchor for an expanded wellness campus. Additional project features include a more extensive network of walking trails and green spaces. The total cost for phase one of the campus expansion is estimated at $115 million.

OPEN FOR CARE
Construction crews are currently completing temporary gravel parking lots and working on concrete foundations, walls and structural steel. They’re also drilling wells for the geothermal heating and cooling system and preparing footings for the industrialized construction center tent on site. This tent will allow construction work to proceed smoothly and on schedule regardless of external weather conditions.
