For seven out of the past eight years, Margaret Mary Health has been named one of the Top 100 Critical Access Hospitals in the United States by The Chartis Center for Rural Health. The ranking was based on iVantage Health Analytics’ Hospital Strength INDEX®, the industry’s most comprehensive assessment of rural provider performance. MMH was one of only three hospitals in Indiana to receive this designation.
The INDEX recognizes hospitals that are excelling in managing risk, achieving higher quality, securing better outcomes, increasing patient satisfaction and operating at a lower cost than their peers. The list of the Top 100 Critical Access Hospitals and more information about the study can be found at iVantageINDEX.com/top-performing-hospitals.
“We are honored to again be recognized as one of the top performing rural hospitals in the country,” said MMH President Tim Putnam. “This acknowledges the hard work and commitment to quality care provided by our providers, nurses, technicians and support staff.”
